In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Galt of the Township of Earl in the County of Lancaster & provence of Pennsylvania Yeoman being aged but of Sound and Disposing mind memory & understanding Do hereby make and declar my last Will & Testament in manner following that is to say

Imprimis I raecommend my Soul to God and my Body I commit to the Earth to be Decently interred at the Discretion of my Executors hereafter named in humble hope of a Glorious Resurrection & an happy Admition into the Regions of bliss and immortality in & through the Merits & mediation of my blessed Savior & Redeemer Jesus Christ and as for my Worldly Estate I give Devise and bequeath the same as folows Vizt.

Imprimis it is my will & I do order and direct that my Just Debts & funeral Expenses be paid off and discharged by my Executors herein after Named as soon as may be after my Decease,

Item I give and bequeath the sume of twelve pounds ten shillings Lawfull money to be paid by my Executors for the maintaining the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Pequea.

Item I Give & Bequeath unto my beloved wife Issabel the bed we now Slep on bed sted & bed cloths & her Sadel & bridel & to live with her Sons & to be provided for in meat lodging & aperial & if she cannot Live with her Sons they are to give unto her ten pounds yearly & every year during her natural Life for her full share of my Estate real and personal.

Item I give & bequeath unto my Daughter Jannet Galt the sume of fifty pounds and her sadel and bridel Case of drawrs & a bed & bed cloths to be paid one year after my Decease for her full share of my Estate-real and personal.

Item I Give & bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Galt the sume of Fifty pounds her sadle bridel Case of Drawrs & a bed & bed Cloas to be paid unto her two years after my Decease.

Item I give & bequeath unto Sarah Galt the Sume of fifty pounds with a new sadle and bridle Case of drawrs & a bed Stead & bed Cloaths to be paid three years after my Decease.

Item I give & devise unto my Sons James Galt and Alexander Galt all that my Tract of Land and improvements Situate on Cannodognin Creek in the County of Cumberland & province aforesaid & Containing about three hundred Acors be the Same more or less with the Improvements to hold unto & to the only use and behooff of them the said James Galt & Alexander Galt their heirs and assigns forever and all my Personal Estate after paying and discharging the Legacies before mentioned and

Lastly I do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint my trusty friends John Galt William Galt James Galt my son of the County aforesaid Executors and Executor of this my last will & Testament hereby Giving and Granting unto my said Executors & the Survivor of them full power and authority as they shal see case to sell aney parts of my Estate to pay off and see discharged my said Debts & Legacies and fully execute this my Last Will as to them shall seem requisite declaring this to be and Contain my last Will and Testament.
